Bowie Memorial Hospital - Digital caricatures
We took pictures and did digital caricatures of over 100 staff and residents of Bellmire Healthcare Facility (a nursing home). This was a "fun" activity with the purpose of creating a positive, uplifting atmosphere, while giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy themselves. Many of the residents said it was the first time they'd had their picture made in years. They were given both the original picture and the digital caricature. They loved the results! It gave me the opportunity as a Program Director to meet many of the staff members that I had not yet met. I have gone into the nursing home a few times since then and several people have remembered me and made a comment about how much everyone (staff and residents) enjoyed the fun pictures. I'm glad Diamond gave us this opportunity to give back to the community in such a unique, fun, and creative way! - Dana Sanders, IOP Program Director
