“We are excited to have Steve on board to lead Operations and be part of our senior leadership team,” said Richard Feldman, Diamond’s President and CEO. “His breadth of experience will provide additional value as we assist our partner hospitals throughout the country in preparing for the impact of changes to federal and state healthcare policy.”

“I’m honored to be part of a company whose core values of quality, ethics and financial stewardship provide the framework for how we develop and operate a full range of mental health and addiction services,” said Mr. Merz. “Healthcare, and particularly behavioral health, is a complex field and I am eager to work closely with hospital leaders in shaping a sustainable future for such essential services.”

Mr. Merz's career spans more than 25 years in healthcare administration.
