A national patient safety goal for behavioral healthcare regarding suicide risk reduction has been updated to include the assessment of risk factors. The below SAMHSA and CDC article explains the new requirement.
Effective July 1, 2019 - NPSG.15.01.01 EP 3 requires that the suicide risk assessment include ‘risk factors’.

Additionally he held various administrative and clinical roles for Guthrie Health System in Sayre, PA; the VA Black Hills Healthcare System in Fort Meade, SD; the Erie VA Medical System in Erie, PA; and Stairways Behavioral Health in Erie, PA.
