10/22/18 (Richmond, VA) – From heroin to painkillers, the Commonwealth of Virginia continues to struggle with a high number of overdoses. To help address this issue, Diamond Healthcare Corporation (Diamond) is opening two new outpatient alcohol and addiction treatment programs in Gloucester and Richmond, VA, bringing the total in Virginia to five.
We are pleased to welcome Joey Trapani, Senior Vice President of Business Development, to our team.
With prior experience as a VP in Operations at Diamond, he understands the full spectrum of integrated behavioral healthcare and what it takes to run a successful program. He is adept at helping our clients understand their needs and recommending programming that is personalized to their hospital, budget and community.
Patrick Chunn, CPA, MBA, CMA, has joined Diamond as Chief Financial Officer. Patrick has over 30 years of diverse experience in healthcare services, revenue cycle and managed care industries. He has served as the CFO of organizations ranging in size from early stage ventures to companies with over $1 billion in annual revenue.
He previously served as CFO of Golden Health Accountable Care, PatientMatters, Hospital Physician Partners, Vohra Health Services, Independent Living Systems and Vista Health Plans.
Angela Meadows, CPA has been promoted to Vice President, Accounting and Controller at Diamond Healthcare Corporation.
As a Certified Public Accountant, Angela is responsible for Diamond’s accounting, treasury management, audit, tax and budget functions, as well as 401(k) plan administration.

David Bissi, MBA, CHFP has been promoted to Vice President, Finance.
David started with Diamond in 2007. He has an extensive background in behavioral health reimbursement and provides financial analysis of current client program performance, proforma analysis of prospective programming and new business, and net revenue validation.
