LEBANON, Va. – In response to an outstanding need in Southwest Virginia, Russell County Medical Center has expanded to include a medical psychiatric service. This fully functional medical/surgical unit enables RCMC staff to care for people suffering from medical illness and mental health disorders at the same time.
The med-psych unit is for adult patients and is staffed by board-certified physicians, psychiatrists and specially trained nurse practitioners.

Diamond Healthcare Corporation is pleased to announce that Maryview Medical Center's Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program in Portsmouth, VA has received certification by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). Diamond has managed the program at Bon Secours Maryview for the past 15 years.
“We have seen great outcomes in our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program and this certification reinforces the importance and value of this service,” said Kelly Russell, Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program Director.
