Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation

Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in the United States. Chronic obstructive and restrictive pulmonary diseases are the third leading cause of death. Multiple emergency department visits and hospital readmissions are common for patients in these diagnostic categories.
Diamond’s Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation (CPR) program for acute and critical access hospitals provides a turnkey solution for hospitals confronted with these challenges. We can assist with program design, development, and operation of a pulmonary program. The financial investment or startup costs are minimal, and a Certificate of Need is not required.
The benefits for your hospital include:
  • Positive cash flow and increased contribution margin
  • Fewer hospitalizations and reduced lengths of stay
  • Fewer re-admissions, minimizing the potential for CMS penalties and rate reductions
  • Fewer Emergency Department visits

Our 2018 outcomes:
  • 457 program graduates
  • 0 total 30-day hospital readmissions
